The soldier Final

I'm the soldier
that never loses composure,
but right now the fate of the squad rests on my shoulders
The squad is like my family
We look out for each other constantly,
We play, fight, work, and drink with each other hourly

Right now the battle it seems to be we won it
except I spent to much energy on it honestly I'm exhausted
Although it feels like a dream
"rangers lead the way" is what we scream

at the reaction of the first downed black hawk
rushing towards the black hawk
The somalian militia are closing in quick
right now its way to early to quit
rushing against somalians with RPGs
well you know what thats not scaring me

Its time for the people of Mogadishu to know what its feels to be free

Angry Letter

Sports Authourity

Waipahu, Hawaii, 96-797

Dear, Sports Authority Administration

My family and I have been going to your store for many years. Your variety of sports gear, customer service, and convienent location has kept my family coming back for years.

However, we’ve had some problems concerning some of the equipment, and changing stalls. A couple of weeks ago I went to buy some running shoes from your store. I found the shoe that I wanted and the color I wanted, but it was the last one in stock. I was a little scepticle about buying the shoes because the box was dented and it made me think that the shoes might have been broken or one of the pairs missing. If it wasn’t for the motivation of needing shoes for the next day I wouldn’t have bought them.

In addition, you also need to take care of your sample socks, some people would change their old socks and switch it with the sample socks. You also need to clean some of your socks because sometimes when I try on a show with the socks it either smells or it feels sticky. The socks should be checked and washed more often.

Through this all the staff would take care of us and try to find me new shoes, and find cleaner socks. I feel that I should bother the staff for minor problems, but this situation really bothers me.

I understand that there are a lot of work to take of managing a store is hard. I don’t expect this situation to be taken into action quickly, but I hope that its put into consideration.

Sincerely,

Christian Casinas

Risky Buisness Draft

In the modern world teen years are a risky business. Risk behaviors are activities that teens would participate in to fit in or just to impress someone. These decisions are what can cause teens to fail in school and ruin their future. Homosexuality is a form of risky business and can interfere with ones learning and self esteem. Teen sexual orientation should be allowed without the discrimination from others.

Most people find sexual orientation to be disturbing, and would usually shun those who are gay. When people do this it forces homosexuals to hide who they really are so that they can fit in. Teens would hide because of the fear that they might get bullied. If they choose to hide what they are going through then no one would know that they are facing problems. These people would have to seek help in secret and this could interfere with school work because the teacher might not know what he or she is dealing with.

Most teens will end up getting bullied by there peers because of who they choose to like. The most common type of bullying that occurs is verbal bulling when teens would walk up to a person and tease them. The second most common thing is cyber-bullying where teens can bully kids at there homes from the comfort of their own home. This could lower a students self-esttem and confidence and they will never get anywhere in life. Teens need to realize that even without violence it still hurts.

If a teen gets bullied enough they might commit suicide. Research has shown that thirty percent of all suicides are because of teens getting bullied for their sexual orientation. In a national survey it showed that 760 teens were bullied because of their homosexuality. That number is big and it needs to shrink. Bullycide is the constant abuse from others on the internet and that will begin to create fear and confusion in a teen.

Teen homosexuality is a choice and the problem is the pain that others cause. This a is a risky behavior that will interfere with another's learning. If you already know that they're gay then don't constantly keep on harassing them. No teen should suffer from the abuse just because of their decision to be gay. It's their choice and their right who to like who they want.

Personal College essay

Walking on the court in the fourth quarter. My heart is pounding and the crowd is cheering. Me and my team breathing heavily. Pressure's on us for we are down by two. We only have time for one more play. The ball was given to me and I have one second left. I take it and we tie the game.
By day I'm usually the quiet kid that does his work, but by night I'm the guard at Moanalua High School's JV team. When I play I feel like a different person. I talk the most on my team and I usually am the one getting noticed. At school I'm quiet and I don't get into trouble much. I usually always behave, but in the game my personality will change. In hawaii everyone is nice and they usually encourage each other. The people here and the land are nice and thats usually what I'm used to. It will be a challenge for me to move away to the mainland, but just so long as I keep playing Basketball I will be fine.
